Festive shopping is here

One of our favourite pastimes in the build up to Christmas is all the wonderful festive shopping opportunities that exist, and in particular, the very many Christmas markets that are open in the build up to the big day.

We love experiencing all the wonderful crafts, gifts and of course the seasonal food and drink on offer at this time of year. We’ve rounded up a few of the festive markets that are happening locally in the run up to Christmas.

Cheltenham Christmas Arts & Crafts Market
The Christmas Cheltenham Arts & Craft Market runs from 14th to 23rd December.
The market will run outside Cavendish House (House of Fraser) along The Promenade.
Shoppers can look forward to browsing stalls full of unique Christmas gifts, homeware and handmade goods by local producers, craftspeople and artisans from jewellery to glasswork and woodcraft to original art prints, set against a back-drop of elegant Regency buildings.

The Suffolks Christmas Market
A fantastically-popular event, guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit. On Sunday 26th November from 11am to 5pm the Suffolks Market takes place featuring Father Christmas, carols, children's entertainment and street food.
Taking place from Montpellier Terrace along Suffolk Parade to Suffolk Road then into Great Norwood Street, the markets are carefully curated, featuring Arts & Crafts, Designers & Makers, Vintage and Food & Drink.  The emphasis is on local and all stallholders are independent.

Artisan Christmas Market
Discover beautiful products created by local makers and creatives at the artisan market at Pittville Pump Room. The market is free to visit and showcases a host of crafts from artworks and scented candles to textiles and hats and jewellery that you won't find on the high street, all made by local artisans. Entry is free and the markets are open 10am to 5pm.

Christmas Artisan Craft Market at Dunkertons
Saturday 9th December from 10am onwards.
Many talented artisan makers and producers alongside Dunkertons Cider Shop will be selling their finest handmade, hand-crafted festive gifts including: stocking fillers, gifts for friends and family, decorations, cards and trimmings.
Their Taproom Bar will be serving their award-winning ciders alongside a range of other alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. Food will be available from their food vendors, with La Boulangerie Artisan, Waghorne's Butchers and Dunkertons Cider shop open for more delicious treats. Dogs and children welcome – free entry to all.

With so much to see and do here in Cheltenham why not indulge yourself in a pre Christmas shopping trip with a stay at our beautiful town house. We’d love to welcome you this festive season.
